Registration and entry in a competition

NOTE:

  1. All competitions – the competitor receives points if the result is within the first 50% of the number of participants. In the case of the World Cup, if points are entered into the FIE ratings, the competitor will also receive points in our table according to our point system;
  2. International competitions – points issued if at least 4 countries (3 athletes from each) and 40 competitors are present;
  3. Points are counted in case all clubs and organisations receive a competition invitation or it is available from the web page of the Estonian Fencing Association or the FIE;
  4. Team points: C class – 6-4-3; Cadets – 12-9-6; Juniors – 15-12-9; points to be counted only for clubs, for the so-called money distribution ranking;
  5. Participation points are given in case of Estonian youth competition, with 0.6 points given in case of individual start, and 1 point for participating as a team;
  6. Other competitions that do not take place according to the age groups applicable in Estonia – points are calculated to D and C class ratings, in case the competition has a higher competition class age limit than the general Estonian age limit for that class. If the athlete participates in a competition where the age limit is lower than in the age class applicable in Estonia, rating points are not calculated.
